UCEED 2025 Exam Schedule Out and Registration Begins: Registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design has officially begun and the link for the online form is now live on the official website of IIT Bombay. UCEED 2025
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design is an exam conducted on a national level by IIT Bombay for admission into the Bachelor in Design programmes. The candidates who pass the exams will be eligible for admission to IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Guwahati, and IITDM Jabalpur. Admissions are given based on the scores of these exams and the candidates who are given a merit rank may take part in the Joint Seat Allotment Process conducted by IIT Bombay. The test is conducted every year mostly in the month of January.

UCEED 2025: Important Dates
The registration window for the entrance tests opened on the 1st of October 2024 and will close on the 31st of October 2024 giving the candidates a whole month for completing their registration process. For those who submit the form along with the late fee, the registration will be open from November 1 to November 8, 2024. The admit cards for the examination will be issued on the 3rd of January 2025 and the exams will commence on 19th January 2024. The final answer key will be released on the 29th of January 2024. The results will be declared on the 7th of March 2025.

UCEED 2025: Eligibility
The candidates who intend to appear for these examinations must ensure they pass the eligibility criteria specified in the official notification before proceeding with the registration process. Some of the requirements for registration are given below.
- The date of birth of the candidate must be on or before the 1st of October 2000. The candidates who belong to the SC/ST/ PwD may have a relaxation of five years.
- A candidate can appear for the UCEED examinations two times at max. The attempts must bein consecutive years. Hence, those who have made their first attempt in the year 2023 are not eligible this year.
- The candidates must have secured passing marks in all five subjects in 10+2 examinations from any stream.

UCEED 2025: Registration Process
Candidates who want to register for the examinations may follow the following steps to register for the entrance test conducted by IIT Bombay.
- Step 1: The first step in the process of registration for the exams would be visiting the official website
- Step 2: Step two of the registration process will be the creation of an applicant account. For this, the candidate may click on the registration link and then fill in all the required details like the email ID and phone number.
- Step 3: After the creation of the applicant account, the candidate then has to log in using the login details and now start filling up the credentials and then select at least three exam cities of their preference for the allocation of exam centres.
- Step 4: The candidates then have to attach a scanned copy of their documents that will include a photograph, signature, proof of birth date, and the certificates of the qualifying exams in the format specified by the authorities.
- Step 5: After checking all the details and the documents carefully, the candidate may now pay the application fee online and then proceed to submit the application form.
UCEED 2025: Application Fee
The application fee for the candidates belonging to the regular category is Rs 4000/-, while for females and candidates from SC/ST/PwD, the fee is Rs 2000/-. The candidates from foreign countries who have OCI/PIO cards issued before March 4th, 2021, will have to Rs 4000/- while the females and PwD will have to pay Rs 2000/-. The candidates from SAARC countries who have OCI/PIO cards issued on or after March 4th, 2021, will have to pay $420. The candidates from Non-SAARC countries who have OCI/PIO cards issued on or after March 4th, 2021, will have to pay $525. The late fee will be Rs 500/$50.

UCEED 2025: Exam Pattern
According to the latest notification, the test will be conducted in two parts. Both these exams will be conducted with English as the medium. The total number of questions in Part A will be 57 out of which 15 will be NAT, 15 will be MSQ, and 28 will be MCQ. This part will be computer-based with a duration of 120 minutes and will test the candidate’s visualization and spatial reasoning, practical and scientific knowledge, observation and design sensitivity, environment and society, analytical and logical reasoning, languages, and creativity. Part B of the test will be in offline mode. The question will appear on the screen and the candidate will answer it in the answer booklet provided. This part will have 2 questions based on sketching and design aptitude for which the candidate will have 60 minutes.
