Vacancies for various posts are released under SSC MTS Recruitment 2024. Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission released 4887 vacancies for Multi-tasking non-technical staff. But in July vacancies were revised to 6144 and Havaldar posts remained the same with 3439 posts.

There are certain eligibility criteria for recruitment. For SSC MTS, the eligibility criteria depend upon three factors, nationality, age limit and education qualification.

The eligible candidates must be
A citizen of Indian
Subject of Nepal
Subject of Bhutan
Tibetan Refugee
A person who is originally from India, and migrated from Pakistan, Kenya, Burma, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Uganda, Zambia, and Ethiopia.
Age Limit
The age limit differs for different posts. It is set as per the rules set by the Staff Selection Commission.
Multi-tasking non-technical staff (MTS)- For this post, the candidate’s minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 25 years.
Havaldar- The age limit for havaldar is 18 years to 27 years. Interested candidates must have been born before 1/08/2006 for Havaldar in CBEC and CBN, Department of Revenue.
The reserved categories have been given age relaxation as per government rules-
For SC/ST, the age relaxation is 5 years.
For OBC, the age relaxation is 3 years.
For PwD(unreserved), the age relaxation is 10 years.
For PwD(OBC), the age relaxation is 13 years.
For PwD (SC/ST), the age relaxation is 15 years.
Ex-Servicemen (ESM), age relaxation is 3 years after deducting it from the service years.
Education qualification for SSC MTS Recruitment 2024
The minimum education qualification required is a 10th pass or its equivalent. The passing certificate should be from any recognised university or school.
Application fee for SSC MTS Recruitment
The application fee for the General category is Rs. 100. The reserved category and females need not pay the application fee.

The admit card for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2024 has been released for all 9 regions: NR, KKR, SR, ER, MPR, CR, WR, NER, and NWR. Candidates can now download their admit cards for the SSC MTS 2024 exam. This year, over 35 lakh candidates will appear for the exam to compete for 9583 vacancies of MTS and Havaldar.
