The Meghalaya Police released a press notice about the PET Admit Card download yesterday. It advises candidates to download the admit card from the official website as soon as possible, as the PET is scheduled to begin on November 18th.

Meghalaya Police Admit Card 2024: Selection Process
The selection process for this recruitment consists of the following;
- Physical Efficiency Test – 100 marks.
- Written Test – 300 marks.
- Interview – 50 marks.
Meghalaya Police Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 2024
The dates of the Physical Efficiency Test are around the corner, along with the release of the admit card.
Candidates should prepare well for this crucial first stage of the selection process.
In the PET, candidates have to run a race. Males must run 5 km within 24 minutes, and females must run 3 km in 19 minutes.
Marks are given based on the time candidates require to complete the race.
The recruitment is for the Armed Branch and Unarmed Branch of Meghalaya Police. The marks allotted are as follows;

Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2024: Written Exam
The second stage of the selection process is the Written Exam.
- Unarmed SI and Constable: 300 marks paper: 3 hours: English, Reasoning, General Science, Arithmetic, etc.
- Armed and Battalion Constable: 150 marks: 2 hours: English, Basic Arithmetic, General Awareness
The Meghalaya Police has also put out an update on its official Facebook page. Candidates can check the details and information mentioned there as well. It lists centers and dates for the PET for different battalions. Candidates can use that information to stay up to date until they can download their admit cards from the official website.
