KTET 2024 Exam
The Kerala Eligibility Test is an exam conducted by KPB two times a year in order to test the eligibility of the candidates who wish to be recruited as teachers in any of the government schools that are operated under the state. The candidates are tested for their skills according to the position of upper primary and lower primary teachers. The guidelines for the Kerala Eligibility Test have been laid out by the State Council of Education and Research Training, often abbreviated as SCERT, along with the regulations specified by the National Council of Teacher Education. The exam is conducted in offline mode and the medium of questioning is English and Malayalam.
KTET Registration 2024 Dates
As per the latest notification issued by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan on the 6th of November 2024, the registration for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test has already started on the 11th of November 2024 and will go on till the 20th of November 2024 after which the registration window will be closed for this year. Once the registration process is over, the admit cards will be issued to the candidates on the 8th of January 2025. The exams will be conducted on the 18th and 19th of January 2025.
Steps to Apply for KTET Registration 2024
Following is the set of steps that the candidates can follow in order to register themselves for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test.
- Step 1: The candidates have to go to the office website of KTET.
- Step 2: The candidates then have to click on the registration link available on the homepage.
- Step 3: Candidates must read the instructions carefully before clicking on “New Registration”.
- Step 4: The candidates then have to enter the required credentials and complete filling out the form for KTET.
- Step 5: The candidates will then upload the scanned copies of the required documents such as the photograph and signature.
- Step 6: The candidates will also have to submit the application fee which is INR 500/- for the candidates belonging to the general category and INR 250/- for the candidates who belong to the categories of SC, ST, or PH.
- Step 7: The candidates may then submit the application form and then save the confirmation page for future reference.
