Jan Soochna Portal Rajasthan 2024, Benefits, List of Scheme: The Rajasthan government introduced a remarkable initiative – The Jan Soochna Portal- in 2019. This portal aims to bring transparency and accessibility to the functioning of various government departments. The state government is harnessing digital literacy and accessibility to provide information about all its schemes and services to its citizens in the comfort of their houses or nearest E-Mitra Seva Kendra. This initiative also greatly supports the Right to Information Act 2005. With all the schemes, services, beneficiaries, accomplishments, etc, available openly, citizens no longer have to run from department to department or be in the dark about the services they seek or require. Since its launch, the government has increased the ambit of the Jan Soochna Portal to include most of its schemes and services.

Jan Soochna Portal Challenges
The Jan Soochna Portal is a massive step towards good governance, but some challenges remain. The most crucial aspect is digital literacy. The government is trying to impart digital literacy and boost internet connectivity in far-flung areas, but this is still a work in progress.
The portal provides real-time access to information, but some schemes still need to add application links. The portal has to be maintained well to be effective.
Conclusion
The Jan Soochna Portal of the Rajasthan Government is a laudable initiative to bring governance to the doorstep of the citizens. It is in line with the Right to Information Act, which aims to provide transparency about the workings of the government and information access to its citizens. The portal is user-friendly, well-designed, and has multiple tabs for easy access. The website offers information in Hindi and English so all can use it. More awareness about the portal is necessary.
