Official Results of Common Admission Test CAT 2024 declared by Indian Institutes of Management, IIM Calcutta. The declaration of results brought with it several points, which included the IIM CAT Toppers List of those candidates who scored A grades in this most challenging exam. In total, 14 candidates scored a perfect score of 100 percentile and so this year’s results become particularly remarkable.
IIM CAT Toppers List 2024
IIM CAT Toppers List reflects the gender disparity in the 14 candidates scoring a percentile of 100 as it reflects only one girl candidate and the rest were all boys, totaling 13 candidates. It, in itself, raises a pointer on how urgent the situation is to enhance women’s representation in management education. A majority of these toppers are from engineering, which has also been an observation for past years.
Apart from the all-weather perfect scores, 29 aspirants have been able to get the 99.99 percentile, while 30 aspirants achieved the 99.98 percentile. It is a sign of a student’s dedication and hard work in preparation for this rigorous exam.

Some of the notable names from the IIM CAT Toppers List 2024 are:
Vedant Chandewar – 99.98 percentile
Aniruddh Singh – 99.89 percentile
Shouvik Chatterjee – 99.43 percentile

IIM CAT Toppers List 2024: Gender and Discipline Statistics
The statistics in toppers provide valuable information regarding the gender representation and educational background of successful candidates. While 14 candidates scored 100 percentile, only one female candidate was there, and most of the rest were males from engineering disciplines. Similar is the trend with candidates who scored 99.99 and 99.98 percentiles as well, in which most of the toppers are engineers.
For example, in the case of 29 students, who received a percentile of 99.99, there were only two female students; in the case of 30 students’ percentage of 99.98 percentile there was only one female student; this itself proves that there was a huge gap to be filled by the recruitment as well as the education system in the near future.
IIM CAT Toppers List 2024: Top Scorers
The state-wise distribution of the toppers states that Maharashtra itself tops with a very long list of high scorers. Here, five of the students scored 100 percentile, followed by two students belonging to Telangana while one belongs to each in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.
Similarly, at 99.99 percentile Maharashtra topped again with five candidates. Meanwhile, Karnataka had four candidates, and Rajasthan and Haryana had three each./
Along with its declaration regarding IIM CAT Toppers List for the year 2024, it inspired future MBA aspirants from each and every corner of the nation. The accolades that those high achievers earn, apart from what speaks of hard work, do reveal a devotion to being best as well as excellent when it all refers to the management world.
