IBPS or the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared the awaited results for the IBPS RRB PO Mains test 2024. Successful candidates, who have attended Mains testing for Officers Scale I, II, and III, will be able to view scores and ranking.
IBPS RRB PO Mains Result 2024 Officer Scale I, II, III
The Mains examination was held for Officer Scale I while the single online examination was held for Officer Scale II and III posts. On September 29, 2024, this main examination was conducted for 200 questions with a maximum mark of 200. These 200 questions have been designed to be solved in 120 minutes. This Mains examination tests the candidates in all the domains which the candidates are required to know for the banking job position such as reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness.

The New Name IBPS Clerk: The Clerks Are Now Called Customer Service Associates
With the announcement of IBPS RRB PO Mains, it also announced terms of clerical level exams from public sector banks. The designation for clerical will now be known as Customer Service Associate (CSA) effective from 01 April 2024 under the Competent Authority’s latest guidelines. The Examination conducted so far as the clerk exam of IBPS henceforth will be addressed as the IBPS CSA examination.

In an official notice, IBPS said, “As per the Competent Authority’s decision, there is a change in the nomenclature of designations for the Clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks. Following this, the presently existing designation of Clerks has been changed to the ‘Customer Service Associate’ (CSA), and from 01.04.2024, this designatory change is effective. From this date onwards, the CRP CLERKS–XIV is to be construed and read as CRP-CSA–XIV [Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA)].
This reveals a shift in expectations for the clerical employees to handle customer servicing and client contact other than conventional banking demands.
