All aspirants can now apply for the HTET 2024 for the posts of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Post Graduate Teacher and prepare themselves for the test to be held to qualify them for the said posts.
The eligibility criteria differ for each level of teaching positions:
Primary Teacher (PRT): Candidates seeking Level 1 must have completed a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent, and at least 50% marks in the Senior Secondary certificate.
TGT or Trained Graduate Teacher: Level 2 requires a Bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with a B. Ed. degree from a recognized university with 50% marks in Bachelor studies.
PGT or Post Graduate Teacher: For Level 3, candidates must have a Master’s degree in concerned subjects with a B. Ed. degree. Knowledge about the culture and language of Haryana is an added advantage in this regard.
Applicants must be Indian citizens. They must also be between 18 to 38 years of age, but age relaxations are available for the reserved categories.
HTET 2024 Application Procedure
Eligible candidates can apply for HTET 2024 by following the given procedure:
Registration Or Login: New applicants have to get registered. Existing candidates may log in.
Fill Up Application: Fill in all your details, educational qualifications, and other necessary information.
Upload Documents: The applicants have to upload a recent photograph, scanned signature, and a thumb impression in JPG format.
Pay Application Fee: Different fees for different levels and categories. For the general category, it is Rs 1000 for one level, Rs 1800 for two levels, and Rs 2400 for all three levels. The fee for the reserved categories is relatively low.
Submit and Save: Verify all details and submit the form and also save a copy for later use.
HTET 2024 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The test assesses teaching skills along with general awareness, besides the specific knowledge in the subject applied for by the candidate. There is no provision for negative marking so candidates will answer all questions without fear of losing marks. They will get lifetime eligibility for the teaching positions in Haryana if they are successful in this test.
November 15 to November 17, 2024, is the period during which the application can be corrected. This will allow the correction of any errors that might have been made in the registration process. Updates in necessary details are provided with login, and a saved form will do the work. Any change after this date will not be allowed.

HTET 2024 is an extremely competitive exam and requires complete preparation for the sake of success. Candidates are recommended to double and triple-check their application form before submitting it as any error in this regard or failure to fill a particular column may lead to its disqualification. Early preparation is the key for exams to be held in December as the test is broad in several subjects and competencies of teaching.
