Shift 1 (Paper 2)
- Starts: 9:30 AM
- Ends: 12:00 Noon
Shift 2 (Paper 1)
- Starts: 2:30 PM
- Ends: 5:00 PM
It is strictly mentioned and thereby students are made aware that to efficiently give the person, candidates must report before time. Late entry is not allowed.
What to Carry and Avoid at the Exam Centre
Carrying any or all of the following:
- A printed version of the CTET Admit Card is a valid photo ID. Proofs like Aadhaar cards or Voter ID proofs etc, (The original voter identification Card which states the date and Place is accepted as original address evidence) A fresh colored postcard size photobuilk A pencil in dark blue or Black colors Ball pen.
Items not permitted within the examination include some type of mobile, calculators, smartwatches, and electronic devices. The candidate should not hold geometry boxes, papers, etc., as stationery with them.
CTET December 2024: Exam Pattern
CTET exam has two papers:
- Paper 1 for those who wish to work as teachers for Classes I to V
- Paper 2 to teach classes VI to VIII.
- Both have 150 multiple-choice questions that must be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes.
Key Instructions to Candidates for CTET Exam 2024
- The candidate may use only a blue or black ballpoint pen to mark his answers on the OMR sheet. Pencils shall not be allowed.
- All the instructions given by the invigilators at the center are to be followed by candidates.
