The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced the dates for the CA Foundation in January 2025. It is scheduled to take place from 12th January to 18th January, 2025. It is one of the most significant tests any aspiring chartered accountant can face in India. Application date begins 10 November 2024, and the application form should reach on or before 23 November 2024 through the payment of the late fee. Grace till November 26, 2024, will be there for those paying the late fee.
CA Foundation Exam 2025 Structure
It is an entry for students to have a career in Chartered Accountancy in India. The exam is divided into three levels, namely, the foundation course, intermediate examination, and final examination. Candidates must clear all three levels to become Chartered Accountants. There are four papers in the Foundation course, and there are 100 marks for each paper.

CA Foundation Exam Syllabus Break-Up
The new syllabus for the CA Foundation exam is from July 1, 2023. There are four papers in all in the syllabus:
Principles and Practice of Accounting
Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting
Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics
Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge

Exam Pattern Insights
The CA Foundation exam is of a pattern that would help the candidate prepare for it. The exam is pen-and-paper-based, with subjective and objective questions in its four papers. While papers one and two are subjective and last for three hours each, papers three and four are objective and last for two hours. The total marks for the exam amount to 400.
