AFCAT Recruitment 2025: Minimum And Maximum Age Limitations (As Of 1/1/2025)
The lower age limit for the candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the flying branch of AFCAT is 20 years and the upper age limit is 24 years. The lower age limit for the candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the technical ground duty branch of AFCAT is 20 years and the upper age limit is 26 years. The lower age limit for the candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the non-technical ground duty branch of AFCAT is also 20 years and the upper age limit is 26 years.
AFCAT Recruitment 2025: Vacancies
IFA has announced a vacancy on around 336 posts that are open for recruitment. Out of these 336 posts, 30 are for the AFCAT flying branch, 122 for AE (L) in the AFCAT technical ground duty branch, 67 for AE (M) in the AFCAT technical ground duty branch, 53 for Admin in the AFCAT non-technical ground duty branch, 16 for LGS in the AFCAT non-technical ground duty branch, 13 for Accounts in non-technical ground duty branch, 9 for GD Non-Tech Education in non-technical ground duty branch, 17 for GD Non-Tech WS branch in non-technical ground duty branch, and 9 for Meteorology.

AFCAT Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualification
The candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the flying branch of AFCAT must possess a degree of Bachelor’s in any stream with Maths and Physics at the 10+2 level or a BTech/BE. The candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the technical ground duty branch of AFCAT must possess at least 60% marks in Maths as well as Physics at the 10+2 level and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering depending on the posts they apply for. The candidates who intend to apply for the posts available in the non-technical ground duty branch of AFCAT must possess a degree of Bachelor’s in any stream with at least 60% marks. Candidates who intend to apply for the posts related to the supervision of accounts must have a BCom degree with at least 60% marks.
