AAI Junior Assistant 2024: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this job one needs to qualify for the eligibility criteria given below.

1. Age Limit

• Minimum – 18 years
• Max – 30 years
• Age Relaxation applicable as per applicable rules
• OBC: + 3 years
• SC / ST: + 5 years
• Ex-Agniveers and others Relaxation as applicable in the category

2. Qualification

• Must have completed Class 10 with a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire

3. Driving License

Candidate must have:

• Heavy Vehicle License; OR
• Medium Vehicle License issued before November 1, 2023; OR
• Light Motor Vehicle License (LMV) issued before November 1, 2022.

4. Physical Fitness Requirements

Physical standards are a must for Junior Assistant (Fire Service) posts.

• For Men:
  • Height: Minimum 167 cm.
  • Weight: Minimum 55 kg.
  • Chest: 81 cm (expandable by 5 cm).

• For Women:
  • Height: Minimum 157 cm.
  • Weight: Minimum 45 kg.
  • Candidates from hilly areas get height and chest relaxations.

Vision Standards:

• 6/6 distance vision without glasses.
• No color blindness or refractive errors are acceptable.

AAI Junior Assistant 2024: Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:
